THANK YOU FROM MOTHER EARTH & All HER CHILDREN TO:
CEREMONIAL LEADERS AT SACRED SITES

ARCTIC VILLAGE - On May 31, Arctic Elders invite you, as a member of our Earth Family, to join them in the following Prayer to give love and appreciation to Mother Earth. On that day Indigenous Elders will also lead ceremonies at Mexico’s mystical Mt Kushumaa near San Diego. “Our intent is to further rebalance Mother Earth and Her weather for humanity, including helping Keep the Polar Ice Caps Cool, with the grace of God” said Olympic skier Suzy Chaffee, co-founder of Native American Olympic Team Foundation (NVF), the orchestrator.

“It is awesome how the temperatures dropped in Europe and the snows returned this winter after the Elders led the billion person prayer. What gave it extra power was a group of 55 Elders of the Americas simultaneously leading ceremonies at sacred sites (Earth’s acupuncture points) throughout the Peruvian Andes. My grandfather, Reverend Trimble Gilbert, was one of the Elders deeply moved there,” said Matthew, a 27 yr old Gwichin Athabascan climatologist. “We are touched to hear that so many care about us. We appreciate all the help we can get,” he said.

ARCTIC-LED PRAYER

Creator (of all names) we give you thanks for our wonderful creation. You are related to everything you made. We are asking you with one voice to help us renew Mother Earth. Give us strength to respect one-another, like brothers and sisters, to help your creation. The Power of Your voice is like lightening. With your great power we can wake up and be true Earth Guardians.

O men and women of the earth. Please humbly pray with the holy ones for all our wildlife: including our polar bears, fish, birds, as well as return of the bees. For all our water, soil, rain, snow and ice. People all over the earth need fresh air to breath, water to drink, and foods that nurture. Send your good spirit upon every country, Creator.

We have lost our wayand turn to You as we see Mother Earth getting so contaminated that we are headed for extinction unless we change andheal Her. Creator have mercy on us and guide each of us toward making a difference so our childrenmay continue to survive andharmoniously thrive here. Our hearts are full of thanks for all your love, as well as blessings for our Earth Mother. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen. Rev Trimble Gilbert

The Arctic Prayer was a result of the positive response from Mother Earth in Europe, which inspired many to want to continue this formula monthly, led by Elders in the most challenged regions.

“Many scientists say if humanity converted to clean fuels today, it would still take a decade to slow down global warming,” said Flores Kestner (Cortina Tribe), associate member of the National Tribal Environmental Council. “So these weather miracles are buying us time to get more sustainable,” said Chaffee, who was asked by tribal and Stanford climatologists to document them. (See “Photo Journey of 7 Elders-led Snow Miracles” below)

“NASA Satellites just revealed that ‘vast regions of Antarctica have also melted.’ T ogether we can help keep both Polar Ice Caps cool to protect our way of life and that of all coastal people,” said Matthew, who is organizing a Global Warming Gathering with 30 Elders in his Arctic Village in Northern Alaska August 22-28.

“We are grateful that the NRDC, founded by Bobby Kennedy Jr, is one of the sponsors, though we need more help, and that Prince Albert (Lakota adoptee) led a North Pole Expedition last spring that raised global awareness,” said Matthew.

The Earth Dance8(.org) International Multicultural Gathering is at Mt Kushumaa’s La Puenta Resort in Tecate, Baja, Mexico, May 28-June 1. “Everyone is welcome,” said Adam Yellowbird, founder of Earthworks for Humanity Foundation(.org), which also organized the Elders Peruvian Ceremonies in partnership with NVF’s World Prayer.

“Science has not served us as I once thought, so now I’m turning my attention to spiritual solutions, as the Elders have made a believer out of me,” said Texas Conservative Kit Collins, a supporter.

“Whatever problems we have on earth we know that prayer can be an effective healer,” said Ambassador Gilbert A. Robinson, former chairman of the National Bible Association, a supporter.

“We bless every network leader, supporter (See list), and participant, as each plays an irreplaceable role in healing and rebalancing Mother Earth,” said Woody Vaspra, (Hawaiian-Chinese), President of the World Council of Elders, who wrote the first World Prayers.

NVF is a Colorado non-profit 501c3 partnership of US Tribal leaders, Elders and Olympians, whose mission is “to create joyful unity through sports and education to help heal Mother Earth for all our children.”
